Haunted or Not Haunted?

Have you ever thought your house was haunted? I have!

When I was in highschool it was daylight savings night. So this was around the 2000, cell phones were just becoming more common, and this was way before Iphones and Alexa.

My younger brother and I were standing in our kitchen. It was about to hit that 2am hour. There was a regular manual hand clock in our kitchen that was there as long as I could remember.

My brother and I were talking, probably eating late night junk food when him and I noticed this clock turning itself back! The minute hand started circling backwards until it hit 1pm and it stopped. This wasn’t a digital clock just a battery operated clock.

It was one of the spookiest moments as we kept watching the minute hand turn until it stopped at 1am. We both just stopped what we were doing and went to bed. We still don’t have an explanation for it but til this day we were both freaked out and convinced there was a ghost in the house!

Real estate fun fact! : Did you know in LA you do NOT have to disclose if you believe a house is haunted?? As you walk the streets of the French Quarter, you may see a For Sale Sign with a rider that says “Not Haunted” but if it were, the owner wouldn’t have to tell you!

There are many haunted homes about New Orleans, its ingrained in our history. If you’ve never taken a haunted history tour in the French Quarter, I highly recommend it! You’ll learn tons of history and some really scary things!
